PART-TIME  ON CALL PATROL OFFICER FOR 2ND & 3RD SHIFTS

     2nd shift 1:45pm - 9:45pm

     3rd shift 9:45pm - 5:45am

 

As a Security Patrol Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of designated areas by conducting regular patrols, monitoring surveillance equipment, and inspecting premises. You will deter and respond to incidents of theft, vandalism, and unauthorized access, while providing a visible and authoritative presence. Your role involves maintaining accurate records, writing incident reports, and collaborating with law enforcement when necessary. Excellent observational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to remain calm under pressure are essential. Essential Functions

  • Respond to alarms, emergencies, and incidents, assessing situations and taking appropriate action;
  • Monitor and operate security surveillance systems, including CCTV and alarm systems;
  • Patrol and supervise assigned areas of property, assuring residents, guests, and staff are safe, orderly, and within supervised areas; assure all others on property are authorized visitors; monitor resident behavior and activity during meetings and community functions; promote positive behavior; enforce community policies, regulations and procedures;
  • Conduct routine checks and maintenance of security equipment to ensure it is in working order;
  • Investigate and report unusual, suspicious or criminal activities; prevent or break up conflicts and fights; investigate incidents and report instances of vandalism; take photos of incidents as appropriate; serve as first responder to incidents; refer incidents including personal injuries, altercations, suspicious activities, and rule violations;
  • Write detailed and accurate incident and activity reports, documenting observations and actions taken;
  • Enforces community parking and traffic regulations by being knowledgeable of the parking and traffic regulations, advising residents, guests, and staff about the parking rules and regulations, issuing parking and traffic tickets, rendering assistance during traffic accidents and preparing reports regarding on-property traffic accidents.


Qualifications

Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent.
  • Experience with surveillance systems, security equipment, and emergency response procedures.
  • Three (3) years of security experience.
  • Customer service experience, demonstrating strong interpersonal and communication skills.

 

Additional Eligibility Qualifications

  • Valid Arizona Driver’s License.
  • Patrol Positions require a clean driving record with no at-fault accidents or MAJOR moving violations within the past seven years.
  • Current CPR certification or ability to obtain.
  • Ability to read, write, and understand the English language.
