As a Security Officer - Exterior Patrol Rounds in Scottsdale, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer supporting a healthcare location. You will conduct routine patrols of buildings and grounds, remain highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and respond to calls with clear communication and strong customer service. You will document observations, report concerns, and work as part of a team that is agile, reliable, and innovative, with a caring culture that puts people first and always acts with integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients at a healthcare and/or pharmaceutical manufacturing location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following post orders and documenting actions taken.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols of interior areas, corridors, loading docks, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify hazards or maintenance concerns for reporting.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity as assigned, including verifying identification and/or authorization, directing guests, and communicating with site staff.
• Complete routine reports and log entries, communicate observations to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision, and support investigations by preserving observations and relevant details.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 6+ months of security-related experience.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
