As a Security Officer - Armed Rapid Response in Scottsdale, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal at a financial institution location as an armed patrol officer, monitoring and patrolling assigned areas to help identify and address security-related concerns. You will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible to help discourage incidents, and provide clear communication and customer service to staff and visitors. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a financial services setting.
• Conduct armed foot and/or vehicle patrols at regular and random intervals throughout the facility, including lobbies, office areas, corridors, parking areas and the perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
• Monitor alarms, cameras and/or access control points; verify identification and authorize entry for employees, visitors and vendors in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site leadership and emergency services as needed while maintaining control of the area.
• Document patrols, incidents, disturbances, maintenance concerns and other security-related observations in written reports and/or electronic systems, and communicate relevant updates during shift turnover.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have 3+ years combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience OR have a college degree.
• Be 21+ years of age.
• Pepper spray certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
• An armed guard card and/or license is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
