Security Guard - Financial Patrol Overnights

As a Security Guard - Financial Patrol Overnights in Tempe, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Allied Universal Security Officer at a financial institution location, you will conduct routine unarmed patrols, maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents, and support access control and incident reporting. You will deliver outstanding customer service and clear communication with staff and visitors, while working as part of an agile, reliable, and innovative team that puts people first and acts with integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including initiating notifications and documenting actions taken.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
• Monitor access points, verify identification and/or authorization as required, and direct visitors, employees, and vendors according to site-specific requirements.
• Complete routine reports and incident documentation, communicate with site personnel and Allied Universal leadership, and support security-related operations as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of security experience.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
