The following position is to join RTX, Enterprise People Services Clearance Processing Center:

Security Clearance Processing Support | Staff Tech, Security (T4)

The RTX CPC is seeking a dedicated and detailed oriented professional to support the overall mission of the organization and maintain compliance with DoD and organizational personnel security policies and procedures. The selected candidate will rotate through all the roles in the Clearance Processing Center and perform duties that include maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with security standards and guidelines. Additionally, the selected candidate will have to understand the department’s Key Performance Indicators and assist with metrics and reports.

What You Will Do

  • Perform all the duties that the contractor must perform to submit a Pre-Employment Eligibility Determination Action case to the United States Government for processing.
  • Perform tasks related to maintaining the department’s key metrics and reports
  • Process and enter cases to meet the requirements under SEAD 3 and 4 in the designated government databases.
  • Initiate, review and process the questionnaires (to conform to the 32 CFR part 117 National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual requirements) for National Security Positions (SF86).
  • Update and maintain records in the government systems of record such as DISS and NBIS databases.
  • Update and maintain personnel security records in all required internal company security databases.
  • Perform under moderate supervision.

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Typically requires an AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience.
  • Prior experience supporting miscellaneous administrative support functions.
  • U.S Citizenship; this roles requires an active and transferable, or the ability to obtain, a government issued security clearance prior to start date.

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Working knowledge of SWFT, DISS, and NBIS eApp
  • PERSEC experience
  • Completion of Personnel Security training modules from the Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency Center for Development of Security Excellence
  • Working knowledge of the SEAD 3 and SEAD 4 requirements and the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual
  • Work experience interacting / working with Defense Counterintelligence Security Agency and/or other Cognizant Security Agency personnel
  • Excellent written/verbal communication skills to interact with all levels of personnel with tact and professionalism.
  • Exemplary attention to detail and accuracy
  • Technical knowledge in solving complex problems
  • Must be flexible, able to multi-task, possess strong customer service skills, and the ability to function in a team environment

Location

  • This role will be hybrid in Tucson, AZ; hybrid employees work regularly onsite, requiring 2-3 days onsite per week.
  • This role must be performed within the domestic U.S (excluding U.S territories).
  • Relocation assistance will not be offered for this role.

The salary range for this role is 53,100 USD - 100,900 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
