Full-Time Security Officer

SUMMARY

The Outlets North Phoenix is hiring Full-Time Security Officers to patrol the grounds and provide a safe shopping experience. This position patrols the grounds and buildings of the Shopping Center, reporting any suspicious activity, and performing a variety of tasks while working under general supervision.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensures the safety, comfort and satisfaction of the shopping public by always exhibiting a professional and helpful attitude.
• Protects the property both on foot and by vehicle, being visible and observant at all times.
• Ensures critical areas of the property are being monitored.
• Maintains the security cellular phone and professionally responds to all calls for service within the Center.
• Documents security activity using appropriate corporate and center security forms, always ensuring the work product is concise, accurate, and thorough.
• Maintains complete knowledge of all security operations, policies and procedures.
• Establishes and maintains working relationships with store managers and employees on an ongoing basis to enhance the security and safety of all employees and the general public.
• Assists the General Manager in implementing the center's Security work plan, assigned work activities, projects and programs.
• Assists the General Manager in training new security personnel.
• Complies with all Corporate and Security policies and procedures that pertain to the Center.
• Performs all duties according to OSHA established health and safety standards.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE

• 2 - 3 years of experience in the field or in a related area preferred.
• High school diploma or its equivalent.
